Michael Keaton's performance in "Birdman" is one of his most acclaimed film. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who has the ability to perform both comic as well as dramatic roles. In addition to playing romantic roles, he also played in action films as well as thrillers. As a teenager, he began to develop an interest in both acting as well as performing. As an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. While his stand-up comedy was not successful it helped in the development of his acting. Not able to achieve success as a comedian he took on a position as cameraman for a TV cable station. When he was working for the cable station, he realized he wanted to work in the front of cameras. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he could land an appearance on television. He was a naturally gifted actor and soon became popular in the world of television. In his early film careers his aspirations were high and gained acclaim for his comic-book roles. He gained even more fame for his role as Batman as the main character in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he began his career in the field of acting and then began producing and directing films. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman garnered him many awards and nods.
